Suhani Sharma, a medical student in Bombay. One day on the train, she meets Aditya Sehgal, a carefree young man and is impressed by his buoyancy and joie de vivre. As much as she tries to hide it, she is magnetized toward him. The two fall deeply in love, get married and begin a new life together. But soon reality begins to crack up their fairytale romance as his happy attitude towards life looks too much like irresponsibility. Financial insecurities and ego hassles begin to drive a wedge between the happily married couple and they part ways. However, deep inside both of them there still lingers a deep love. Both know they cannot live with each other and can't live without the other.
