Husserl as analytic philosopher / Guillermo E. Rosado Haddock -- The analytic/synthetic dichotomy : Husserl and the analytic tradition / Jairo José da Silva -- Husserl's classical conception of intentionality -- and its enemies / Uwe Meixner -- Husserl and Frege on functions / Claire Ortiz Hill -- Husserl and Tarski : the semantic conception of intentionality and truth / David Woodruff Smith -- Der logische Aufbau als Plagiat, oder, Eine einführung in Husserls System Konstitution / Verena Mayer -- The old Husserl and the young Carnap / Guillermo E. Rosado Haddock.
Summary: The book contributes to the refutation of the separation of philosophy in the 20th century into analytic and continental. It is shown that Edmund Husserl was seriously concerned with issues of so-called analytic philosophy, that there are strict parallelisms between Husserl's treatment of philosophical subjects and those of authors in the analytic tradition, and that Husserl had a strong influence on Rudolf Carnap's 'Aufbau'.
