Diese von der modernen Reproduktionsmedizin schon seit lï¿½ngerem angebotene und auch tatsï¿½chlich in Anspruch genommene Methode wirft jedoch eine Reihe von rechtlichen, humangenetischen und psychologischen Fragen auf, die auch im Kreise der Experten bisher als nicht hinreichend geklï¿½rt betrachtet werden. Der vorliegende Band unternimmt es, diese Fragen aufzugreifen und im interdisziplinï¿½ren Gesprï¿½ch denkbare Antworten und Lï¿½sungen auszuloten. Die hier versammelten Beitrï¿½ge gehen auf einen Workshop zurï¿½ck, den in Kooperation das Zentrum fï¿½r Medizinrecht und das Gï¿½ttinger Institut fï¿½r Humangenetik gemeinsam veranstaltet haben. Mit den hieraus hervorgegangenen Empfehlungen hoffen die Herausgeber, wichtige Impulse und Hilfestellungen fï¿½r die in diesem Bereich Verantwortlichen, aber auch fï¿½r Gesetzgebung und Rechtsprechung geben zu kï¿½nnen.Summary: The heterologous or donogenous insemination is the artificial fertilization of an ovum for reproductive purposes with the sperm of an outside donor to save the affected couples a infertility. This method is long been offered and used by the modern reproductive medicine but, however raises a number of legal, human genetic and psychological issues that are not at sufficiently resolved in the circle of experts. The present volume addresses these questions and possible answers in an interdisciplinary discussion and explores solutions. The articles go back to a workshop, which was jointly organized in cooperation of the Centre for Medical Law and the Gï¿½ttingen Institute of Human Genetics. The editors hope that the recommendations resulting from this will be able to provide important impetus and support to the leaders in this field, but also to legislation and case law.
