Summary: La dynamique terminologique s'intéresse à l'évolution des termes. Complémentaire, la terminométrie offre une mesure de cette mutation. Par une étude de l'usage en diachronie courte (deux années consécutives) dans un domaine de spécialité, la nanotechnologie, il est démontré que la terminométrie décrit précisément la dynamique des termes en situation multiculturelle, bilingue ou plurilingue. L'apport de la terminométrie à la compréhension de la progression des connaissances dans les textes spécialisés est également établi.
