The film was originally titled Akoori, a reference to a traditional Parsi scrambled-eggs-like side dish.
Raised in foster homes, Cyrus (who has a secret) arrives at the home of Dithnaw and his flirtatious wife, Katy. Hidden cracks in the dysfunctional Sethna family are revealed when they welcome Cyrus into their home.
